Catching up... Boston, Final Day

So far, we had managed to do EVERYTHING we wanted on our trip. However, there was one big thing left. It was something that NONE of us had done before... even our hosts. We wanted to tour Fenway Park. We had an afternoon flight back to Austin, so we loaded up our luggage and headed downtown...

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour! Not only was it a gorgeous day but the tour was so interesting. It has such a great history and is such a huge part of Boston.

Not only did we get a guided tour but we got to go down on the field! We even got to walk right up to the Green Monster. It was a view of the park that we will probably never see again.

Us in front of The Green Monster... and Dylan inspecting the sand!

We also go to sit in the coveted seats that have been recently added to the Green Monster.

After the tour, we still had some time to kill before our flight. Dylan was sleepy after the exhausting tour so Kara and Mike decided to ride around in the car with him for a bit. They dropped us at The Prudential Center. We went all the way to the top and enjoyed beautiful 360 degree views of the city!

Notice Fenway Park on the left... it was fun to see it from this view- we had JUST been inside!

We went back down to meet the car and they took us to the airport. It was a WONDERFUL trip. I know we were all completely worn out, but it was such fun! Kara & Mike were such great hosts... I loved seeing them and having them get to know Brad. We had a blast hanging out with Dylan. These years are so precious- he changes everyday! We already have a date planned to see them for one day in Dallas before Christmas and I can't wait!
