On our final full day in Boston, we decided to make it a Dylan day. He had been carted, carried and pushed around while the adults had fun. That little man had enough of that- he had learned to walk and he wanted to use those legs!! So, we chose some fun things for us that would also allow him to have some fun too! First stop, the New England Aquarium.
Kara & Mike have a season pass for their family, so Mike and Dylan go quite often as a a fun outing. We followed the Pros and they showed us the ropes!
We had a great time looking at all the animals and amazing colors.
We also enjoyed watching Dylan!
After the Aquarium, we grabbed some yummy ice cream and relaxed at a downtown park.
Well, I should clarify... Brad and I relaxed. Dylan got to strip down and play in the sprinkler while Mom and Dad chased him!!!

"Yea for the sprinkler park!!" |
This is one my favorite series of Dylan pictures. He is so darn cute... plus I love that the wall behind him says "Mother's Walk"...
After the ice cream was done and Dylan was dressed, walked part of the Freedom Trail over to the USS Constitution aka "Old Ironsides".
"I am ready to go!!" |
As we walked over, Dylan took a nap. Since Kara had already been to the ship, she decided to walk around and hopefully keep the little man asleep for a while longer.
It is a very interesting (and free) tour and one that Mike hadn't been on since he was a kid.
After the tour, we re-joined Kara and the now awake Dylan and decided it was time for dinner. We walked into the North End which is Boston's version of "Little Italy". On every street corner there is a Mom & Pop Italian restaurant. We went from place to place looking at their menus... the smells were SO good that we were starving be the time we chose one. We were NOT disappointed.
It was a nice way to end yet another very busy day. Dylan even had fun... he entertained himself by putting things in water glasses. Then Kara would dump them out and he would start over again.
We headed home to pack and sleep. Even though we flew out the next day, we still had fun plans. That is way we vacation... jammed packed!
