The Big Day - The Wedding...

I can't wait for our professional pictures to arrive! In the meantime, I have great friends and family that have provided me with some pictures to get things started! (Thanks Cindy, Kara & Elaine.)

This post will be mostly pictures because it is the best way to tell the story. Mostly I can tell you that the ceremony was beautiful and everything I wanted. It was full of laughter, family, faith and happiness. There isn't a single thing I would change. Even the blustery wind that caused issues with some of our decor and my veil... (you will notice I start the ceremony with one and end it without- the wind decided to pull it out of my hair!). It was all part of the ceremony and I loved it.

The girls were so ambitious with their petal throwing that they ran out half way down the aisle!!
Dylan proudly carrying ring box (with Mom Kara in back to assist).

Troy saying hello to Mom after her entrance.

Men In Black.

My Dad giving me away...

Joanna and string performing.

Me crying from during Joanna's performance.

Four wonderful ladies from my Bible Study group doing a reading... it was one of the most beautiful moments of the ceremony and one I will always cherish. They brought me to tears.
Watching the girls do their reading.

We chose to add a part to our ceremony to symbolize the union of our two families and the importance that our faith has in that. We each went to the others parents for a time of prayer. Our Dad prayed for us in our new roles and husband and wife and as their new son and daughter-in-law. It was a special moment.

Brad praying with my parents.

Me chatting with Brad's parents after our prayer.

Jim said something funny... many, many times!

When it came time for the rings, I had something sneaky planned and Kasi was my only accomplice. I had always told Brad that my rings were so beautiful but he should be prepared that his ring would probably come from a Cracker Jacks box. So, when Jim asked Kasi for the ring, she suddenly looked very concerned and walked away from the gazebo.

She went to her husband, Jay, that was seated in the audience and they rummaged through the diaper bag. Kasi returned to the stage with... a Cracker Jacks box. It was executed perfectly- thanks Kasi!!!

Mr. & Mrs. Brad Becker!
