Thankfully my parents only ended up with some high wind and rain from Hurricane Gustav. So, my mom's visit here was able to proceed.
I just checked her flight and she is currently in the air and on time for the first leg of her trip! Yippee!! She will be here through Sunday morning. We have fun mother-daughter stuff planned, including a cooking class at Central Market.
I have taken off work Thursday and Friday so we can hang out. (Of course, I am STILL getting up for Boot Camp tomorrow morning... if I miss- I do extra push-ups. Yuck.)
