Why the Amycita Blog?

In the past, the only blogs I ever read were silly ones (aka The Bachelor Recaps!) and I never really thought about them too much. Then just recently my friend Shaunna started a blog. Shaunna and I have been friends since high school... let's just say we graduated in the 90's and leave it at that. Anyway, Shaunna and I keep in touch and see each other as often as we can, however, its never quite as much as we would like. So, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading her blog! It keeps me up-to-date on her wedding planning, her daily life events and what's going on with her 2 girls (like braces coming off and local theater performances). I feel more connected to her now.

So, I decided that I would start a blog. I don't expect it to get tons of hits or even loyal readers, but I figure it would be a great way to stay in touch with those that are interested. Jason and I don't live the most exciting lives, however, we have good friends and family, so THEY might want to know what we are up to.

So, check in periodically!! I will update as much as possible, maybe even daily even.

I am new to this blog thing, so my posts are liable to be fairly basic in the beginning, however, I hope to be able to share pictures with you eventually and maybe even memories... In that spirit, here are a couple of pictures in honor of Shaunna who inspired me to start blogging!!
